Descripción

SpeedyDollar, part of Aventus Group, is launching its lending operations in the United States, and we are looking for an experienced Head of Collections to build and lead our U.S. collections operation from Mexico City.
Aventus Group is an international FinTech group with 17 consecutive profitable years, a business network spanning 22+ countries, and nearly 5,000 professionals worldwide. In the first half of 2026 alone, the Group?s lending companies issued more than ?851 million in loans across international markets.
This is not a traditional collections management role. We are entering the U.S. market and are looking for a senior collections leader who has hands-on experience managing U.S. consumer collections from Mexico and understands how to build a high-performing operation in a highly regulated environment.
You will have the opportunity to build the collections function from the ground up, shape the strategy, processes, technology, team structure and performance model, and directly influence the growth of SpeedyDollar in the U.S.
We are looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of U.S. collections strategy, performance management, compliance, analytics, automation and contact-center operations ? and who wants real ownership rather than simply managing an established process
Key Responsibilities

- Build and lead the U.S. Collections function, including team structure, recruitment, training, performance management and coaching.
- Own the end-to-end collections strategy across delinquency stages, from early-stage collections through late-stage recovery, including segmentation, contact strategies, PTP management and payment arrangements.
- Drive collections performance through data and analytics, monitoring key KPIs such as RPC, PTP conversion, cure rate, liquidation/recovery rate, roll rates, productivity and cost of collection.
- Design and continuously optimize omnichannel collection campaigns, including dialer, SMS, email, IVR/voice automation and other approved communication channels.
- Define contact strategies and operational controls in accordance with U.S. collections requirements, including contact frequency, calling windows, consent management and exclusion rules.
- Use automation, testing and technology to improve recovery, including segmentation, A/B testing, dialer optimization and AI-driven collections initiatives.
- Manage external collection partners and vendors, ensuring strong performance, cost efficiency and compliance.

Education
- Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a collections leadership role, such as Collections Manager, Senior Collections Manager, Head of Collections, or equivalent.
- Mandatory hands-on experience managing collections for the U.S. market from Mexico or another nearshore location.
- Experience in consumer lending, fintech, personal loans, auto finance, credit cards, or another U.S. consumer finance environment strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing collections teams and delivering measurable improvements in recovery, cure rates, roll rates, productivity, and cost of collection.
- Experience designing or managing collections strategies across different delinquency stages, including early-stage, late-stage, and recovery.

Language
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (C1 level or equivalent). The candidate must be able to communicate confidently with U.S.-based partners, vendors, Legal, Compliance, and senior management, as well as work with documentation and regulations in English.
- Native or fluent Spanish.

Technical & Collections Knowledge
- Strong understanding of collections KPIs, including RPC, PTP, PTP conversion, cure rate, liquidation/recovery rate, roll rates, contact rate, productivity, and cost of collection.
- Strong experience with collection systems, CRMs, dialers, and reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.
- Experience with multichannel collections strategies, segmentation, campaign management, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with and managing external collection agencies and technology/service providers.
- Working knowledge of U.S. collections compliance requirements, including FDCPA, Regulation F, TCPA, calling restrictions, consent management, and contact-frequency requirements, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with automation, AI, predictive analytics, dialer optimization, or data-driven collections strategies is a strong advantage.

Leadership Profile
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Highly analytical and commercially minded.
- Ability to make decisions based on data and business impact.
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to build processes from the ground up.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where the U.S. collections operation is being built from the ground up.

What We Offer

- Major Medical Expenses Insurance (SGMM).
- Company-provided parking.
- The opportunity to build and lead the U.S. Collections function from the ground up within an established international FinTech group.
- Direct influence on collections strategy, technology, automation, team structure and business performance.
- Significant professional growth opportunities as SpeedyDollar expands its operations in the U.S.
