JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for answering questions and requests directly made by consumers, also guides and advises about product description, specifications / Data and order entry to internal systems via web applications or computer programs / Applies payments and or financial information into internal or third-party programs / Verifies and correct published data on websites / Internal and customer written communication / (New hire and promotion)
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
- Handles customer calls providing information solving problems and entering customer orders
- Enters product order information into internal systems accurately and in a timely manner
- Redacts and replies e-mails to internal and external customer recipients in English
- Data interpretation and generation from internal systems reports
- Generates periodical reports on activities and from systems data
- Follow up on customer communication by email and phone calls
- Follow up on pending tasks (queries, past orders, incomplete reports)
Specialized knowledge/skills:
Hard
o Fluent English speaker at minimum 90% comprehension, written at 90%
o Proficient in personal computers
o Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook)
o Typing at minimum 35 words per minute
Soft
o Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
o Problem solving and capable to manage high stress situations
o Fluent in English speech with good diction and enunciation
o Attention to detail, able to multitask (ability to work on several computer systems at once)
o Good negotiator, problem solver
o Organized, punctual and committed
o Positive attitude
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor?s Degree preferable
- Customer service experience; ideal but not required
Training / Equipment:
- 2 weeks training: Theory 2-5 days, Practice 5-7 days
- 2 weeks of on-the-job training / side-by-side.
- Personal computer, dual screen, internet access, email.
