Warehouse and distribution leader

The warehouse and distribution leader will be responsible for supervising the operation of the warehouse and the pick and will also be responsible for the execution of the distribution/deployment plan to support the direct shipments from MX to the customers.

This position coordinates the operation of the warehouse by leading a group of material handlers. It is responsible to make sure that all the personnel work using the EPP and following the procedures, also responsible for the maintenance of the building and forklifts and for the cycle counting program and to assure the correct fulfillment of the distribution/deployment plan to support the direct shipments from MX to the customers from the 3PL DC located in Nogales, AZ.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

-Material handlers supervision.
-Cycle count program execution of both direct materials and MRO.
-Inventory discrepancies troubleshooting.
-Measurement of the shipping and receiving transaction time.
-Kitting on a timely manner of the jobs issued to the production floor.
-Kitting and shipping the LTL shipments (pick and pack) to support the direct -shipments from MX according to the plans provided by Customer Service.
-Coordinates the yearly physical inventory.
-CTPAT compliance.
-Supports the continuous improvement efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

-3 years of experience in the administration of warehouses and shipping ---- operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Advanced English
-Proven experience in supervising personnel.
-Clearly understanding of the purpose of cycle counting.
-Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for reporting and analysis, ---preferably Plex experience.
-Bachelor?s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
-Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
