Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Translator to join one of our Law Firm business line.

The ideal candidate will preferably have an understanding of legal terminology and procedures in both the source and target languages. You will be responsible for accurately translating materials from one language to another and sometimes assist with interpretations. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure clear and effective communication across languages.

Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy and fidelity to the original text, including legal terminology, nuances, and cultural context.
Conduct research and consult legal dictionaries, glossaries, and other reference materials to maintain the accuracy of translations.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to clarify any ambiguities or discrepancies in the source material.
Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure grammatical correctness, coherence, and consistency.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Requirements:

Fluency in both languages (English and Spanish).
Proven experience as a translator.
Previous knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and concepts in both languages is a plus
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Full time availability and to work on-site
