Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Manage and supervise activities across multiple areas and complex product lines related to the design, development and manufacturing processes implementation considering tools, equipment, layout, facilities and systems to create safe and quality product with a competitive cost and optimum performance. Audit process standards and work instructions, focused in overall area including production support, new projects and productivity. Dedicate resources to data analysis from manufacturing processes related to time studies, layouts, process performance, CPK, critical dimensions, etc. to continuously improve process performance in safety, quality, cost, etc. Define and support strategic vision to area of expertise. Accountable for overall manufacturing engineering responsibilities within assigned areas.

Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanic Engineering
- Green Belt
Lean Manufacturing Certification
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience
Prior supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Data collection and analysis skills
- Project management skills
- Working Knowledge and Application of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Cost of Ownership
- Ability to work in an environment that embraces cross-functional collaborative team driven results
- Ability to effectively communicate in group settings to provide a simple concise message
- Demonstrated proficient interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills
Quickly learn and have the ability to teach complicated concepts to others and engage all levels of the organization.
