Responsibilities:
Manages and supervises the Production Engineering org unit according to defined objectives and KPIs
Designs and leads initiatives with regard to Production Engineering
Takes responsibility for standards, governance and processes in area of responsibility
Defines and steers budgets for the development of activities within area of responsibility
Manages and supervises multiple org units within Production Engineering
Proposes and implements measures for improving team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth
Functional accountability for Production Engineering on plant level
Directs the execution of activities for Plant Engineering (all product types)
Production Engineering activities in projects and the implementation of the production concept
Ensures the implementation of defined standards relating to equipment, processes, software and systems within the Plant Engineering organization
Ensures the support and implementation of product, process optimizations and VAVE coordination
Experience:
Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, mechanical, or related field.
5 years of professional experience in similar position.
Products & Process of Commercial Vehicles and automotive (Harness manufacturing)
Infrastructure integration and cross-functional leadership
Proven track record of complex products in their launch under demanding timelines
Depth technical analysis, supplier integration, and risk mitigation
Skilled at aligning multidisciplinary teams toward cost, quality, and performance objectives
Core tools and Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies
Engineering Design Tools
ERP Planning Systems
Advanced English level (spoken and written)
