Engineer III, Control Design Bilingue

A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Create concept sketches and explanations of the equipment and its processes., and (ii) Create specific machine requirements based on concepts and feedback from customers.. Requires 6+ years of automation experience, Has participated automation teams (mechanical designers, machine shops, technicians, and operators and a minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechatronics or Electro Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field, Or 10 years of equivalent experience designing automated equipment for assembly.

Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor?s Degree in Mechatronics or Electro Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field or 10 years of equivalent experience designing automated equipment for assembly

Experience:
- 6+ years of automation experience
- Has participated automation teams (mechanical designers, machine shops, technicians, and operators
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced using AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS or other 3D software packages.
- Has wrote several programs in Ladder Logic and or HLL (preferable C# or C).
- A strong mathematics background and the ability to understand and implement formulas and algorithms used to calculate machine metrics and statistics is a must.
- Can operate instrumentation tools (DMM, OSCILOSCOPES, SPECTRUM ANALYZER, RF GENERATORS, COUNTERS, FORCE PRESSURE and TEMPERATURE).
- Uses Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point).
- Has worked with plastics, metals and pcbs. Is capable to perform all duties with minimum supervision.
- Effective communication skills in groups to convey a simple and concise message
- Vision to develop productivity projects,reduce costs and make resources more efficient
- Expert leading a work group to achieve common goals and be a solution facilitator.
- Proficient in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
