Supplier Development Purchasing

Nidec Powertrain Systems de Mexico is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Supplier Development (Purchansing).

The person in this role will support Purchasing Department to develop our outsourced supply base to ensure overall best cost, quality, manufacturability, and operational self-reliance.

What You?ll Be Doing

- Develop sourcing strategies to maximize supply base efficiency.
- Develop and manage Supplier Partner relationships to support key performance indicator achievement.
- Understand and analyze respective commodity market trends to ensure Nidec is using the right supplier candidates and technologies.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's Degree in Administration, International Business, or related career.
- Professional experience in a purchasing, procurement, or similar role with responsibility for product analysis and negotiation.
- Experience with data analysis including the ability to evaluate and identify trends to support decision making & recommendations to management.
- Professional experience in a direct buying role, including responsibility for analysis and negotiation of product cost of automotive commodities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including macros and pivot tables).
- Advanced English.
- Driver's license.
- Passport and U. S. Visa.
