Business Unit Description:
Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications.
About the role:
Provide technical support to end users and ensure the continuous operation of IT infrastructure through preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
Main Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate international transportation operations (air, ocean, and ground) for import and/or export activities.
2. Coordinate and execute customs clearance processes for import and/or export shipments.
3. Monitor and follow up material transit activities from origin to destination with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Control and manage daily operations through reports and available operational tools.
5. Monitor and control transportation expenses through reports and available management tools.
6. Review and approve logistics service providers? invoices.
7. Manage and maintain electronic records and documentation for import and/or export operations.
8. Implement and/or manage continuous improvement initiatives related to operational processes.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Strong commitment, decision-making skills, focus, attention to detail, and a well-organized work approach.
- Knowledge and experience in customs declaration (pedimento) review.
- Experience in shipment tracking and providing timely updates to internal users and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements related to foreign trade operations.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining foreign trade documentation files.
- Experience reviewing and approving logistics and service provider invoices.
