CAM Programming, set up, operating, and making tool adjustments for various types of manual and CNCs from 3D Models, blueprints, and part drawings to perform the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. Set up and operate various CNC machines including; lathes, vertical mills, and horizontal mills. Strong knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, holding fixtures, and tool holders. Experience with the download and start-up of CNC programs. MUST be able to write CNC programs at the machine and make tool offsets and adjustments. MUST be proficient in CAMWorks, Fusion 360, and/or Mastercam.
