Salary: MXN $38,000 ? $42,000 per month
Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Planner to plan, coordinate, and monitor the production schedule from the release of work orders through shipment and customer delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery, material availability, and the efficient utilization of production capacity while maintaining close communication with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, release, print, and monitor production work orders within the ERP system.
- Track production orders daily and ensure timely and accurate completion in the system.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing department to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
- Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure timely material delivery to production.
- Collaborate with Engineering to manage engineering changes, material updates, and production priorities.
- Monitor critical customer orders and communicate status updates to all involved departments.
- Coordinate with the Shipping department to ensure on-time order release and delivery.
- Generate reports and KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), backlog, production plan compliance, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and overdue work orders.
- Participate in cross-functional production planning meetings.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in production planning and control processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Administration, or a related field.
- 3?5 years of experience in Production Planning and Production Control within manufacturing companies.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, finite capacity planning, inventory management, and forecasting.
- Intermediate to advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and corporate teams.
