Carrier Analyst

Summary

The Carrier Analyst I works with Pricing and Carrier Sales team members to review customer lanes and provide carrier leads on business opportunities. Carrier Analyst I works on projects/matters of moderate complexity. Work is managed, yet there is moderate autonomy.

Gather and analyze information and recommend / develop alternative solutions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize statistical and data analysis to match bid and contracted lanes with 3rd party carrier availability
Develop and maintain 3rd party carrier network balance reports / tools
Work with Carrier Sales team to maintain 3rd party carrier profiles and book of business
Knowledge base for Carrier Sales team concerning current 3rd party network capacity
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Efficient in Microsoft Office
Microsoft Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements and Macros
PowerBI expertise, ability to build and maintain reports with minimal assistance
Prefer experience with SQL and/or statistical languages such as R and Python
Prefer experience with transportation management systems such as McLeod, OTM, TMW or similar
Analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Adaptable to change

Good organizational skills
Salary: $25,000 per month + $1,000 in food vouchers.
