Quality Coordinator

About the Position
A leading and well-established company in the textile manufacturing sector is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and highly detail-oriented leader to step into the role of Quality Coordinator.

Location: Yucatán, México.
Work Mode: On-site.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM ? 5:00 PM.

In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our Quality Management System (QMS), leading the plant's production quality strategies, supervising the audit and inspection teams, and ensuring that our products meet the highest demands of international markets.

General responsabilities:

- Lead and oversee compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) across all stages of the textile manufacturing process, from raw material receipt to finished goods.

- Coordinate and mentor the team of quality inspectors and auditors on the production floor, fostering a proactive culture of defect prevention and continuous improvement.

- Manage customer complaints and product returns by conducting thorough root-cause analysis and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Monitor and report Quality KPIs (such as defects per million, scrap rates, and first-pass yield) to global management and international stakeholders in English.

- Ensure strict compliance with international textile quality standards, laboratory testing regulations, color fastness, shrinkage parameters, and customer specifications.

- Develop and deliver training programs for operational and floor staff regarding quality standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Required Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textile Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in quality supervision, coordination, or management.
- Advanced English.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone, 8D reports).
- Solid technical understanding of textile fibers, fabrics, finishes, and apparel assembly processes.
