SR Quality Engineer

An important company in the steel industry is seeking a SR Quality Engineer

Objective
Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and the proper execution of processes in accordance with the procedures and instructions of the Quality Management System, while contributing to team development.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field. Degree required.
Advanced English proficiency.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product quality and/or process quality.
Experience in the steel industry and steel-related processes.
Experience handling customer complaints and conducting internal and external audits.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5 Whys.

Main Responsibilities
Coordinate and ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
Monitor adherence to Quality Management System procedures and instructions.
Follow up on customer complaints and corrective actions.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Analyze quality risks and quality-related issues.
Monitor quality, scrap, and rework indicators.
Coordinate work teams and support employee development.
Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.
