Grow your career as a successful Leisure Group Planner with Amstar. In this role, you will be Generate an improved customer experience as well as sales through leads from the ALGV group department. Follow up on closed ALGV groups to be the connection between Sales, Operations and Customer Service. Giving visibility to the ALGV groups department by providing a weekly update on success stories creating a fertile ground for future fruitful collaborations.


A successful Leisure Group Planner will:

- Proactively reaches out to ALGV Group leads across countries and destinations to generate open line of communication
- Meets with group leaders and travel advisors to understand their event requirements, objectives, budget, and preferences.
- Coordinates the group needs with Operations, Customer Service and Sales
- Act as a central point of contact for all stakeholders, communicating updates, changes, and important information to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Uses technology to track and measure KPI´s such as response rate, closing rate, Net-Promoter-Score and incremental revenue.
- Gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders after the event when reasonable.


A successful Leisure Group Planner will have:
- University Graduate Certificate or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in events sector (preferably tourism industry)
- Usage of technology tools to create, prepare and present reports
- Advanced level of written and spoken English
- Advanced Excel, CRM, Powerpoint
- Knowhow of presentations other than PowerPoint is a plus
- Agile thinker, used to work in a ?test and try? environment
- Ability to integrate with other departments or areas
- Strong narrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and meet deadlines
