¿Qué esperamos de tí como Product Manager para Vacation Express?
A US based travel company is looking to expand its team with an additional hotel buyer/product manager. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, ambition, resourcefulness, critical/creative thinking skills along with excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) and several years of travel industry experience. Project management is key and the candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to focus and complete projects within specific timelines. Candidate must be flexible and adapt to the needs of the organization. Ability to travel when necessary and easy access to an international airport is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing overall relationships with assigned hotel accounts in various destinations
- Negotiating competitive and promotional rates and exclusive benefits
- Negotiating marketing budgets and event participation
- Handling price matches and overall pricing disparity issues
- Responsible for maintaining adequate room inventory
- Assisting with inventory and pricing related connectivity issues
- Assisting with client in-destination hotel issues
- Ensuring hotel content and images are up to date and accurate
- And many other aspects related to the relationship of hotels with our company
Skills and Expertise:
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar or related position
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced industry.
- Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interact positively and effectively with a wide variety of people, both internal and external
- Possesses strong, independent judgment skills, as well as the ability to make effective decisions quickly.
