Location: Querétaro, Mexico
We are seeking an experienced Terminal Manager to lead the overall operation of a logistics terminal, ensuring safety, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.
This position requires a strategic leader with strong operational and financial acumen who can make data-driven decisions and successfully manage a business unit.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operation of the terminal, ensuring safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, customer requirements, certifications, and audits. Manage operational and financial KPIs to maximize business performance. Analyze and manage the terminals Profit & Loss (P&L). Evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions related to labor, productivity, resource allocation, and operating costs. Participate in budget planning and management, including CAPEX and OPEX. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce operating costs. Lead, develop, and coach multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with Commercial, Maintenance, Safety, and Corporate Support teams to achieve business objectives. Build strong customer relationships while ensuring high service levels.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Conversational English. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar management position. Experience managing logistics, industrial, rail, bulk handling, transportation, storage, or terminal operations. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of P&L management and financial performance. Knowledge of CAPEX, OPEX, budgeting, cost control, financial KPIs, and business profitability. Ability to evaluate how operational decisions impact monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results. Experience working with performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience using ERP systems is highly desirable.
