Business Unit Description:

Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex application.


About the role:

Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of direct and indirect materials by negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best quality, cost, delivery, and service, while meeting business requirements and aligning with the company's objectives.


Main Responsibilities:

- Manage the nomination of new projects to understand project scope, milestones, and special requirements.
- Strengthen the supplier base by ensuring suppliers are evaluated according to VDA standards, working closely with the Quality team.
- Evaluate the cost of purchased materials through comparative analyses of pricing and quality to support production cost control.
- Identify and develop national and international suppliers for high-risk and high-impact commodities, driving cost reduction and service improvements without compromising product quality.
- Resolve supplier-related issues for serial production, including negotiations, delivery lead times, documentation, and other commercial matters.
- Provide procurement support to the Finance and Warehouse teams to ensure the timely completion of the material procurement cycle.
- Lead the supplier quotation process by issuing RFQs (Request for Quotation) and managing the sourcing process through the handover to the Planning team using open purchase orders.


Who we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
3+ years of experience in direct and indirect procurement within the automotive industry (Tier 1/Tier 2 preferred).
Proven experience managing domestic and international suppliers.
Strong negotiation skills, supplier development, and supplier performance management.
Experience sourcing electronic components, raw materials, plastic injection molds and capital equipment (CapEx).
Knowledge of cost analysis, cost breakdown, and interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Working of manufacturing processes, including plastic injection molding, assembly, SMT, laser marking, painting and plating.
