We are a growing BIM company providing engineering and construction modeling services for international projects across the United States. We specialize in Electrical BIM for Data Centers, Industrial Facilities, Healthcare, Commercial Buildings, and other large-scale construction projects.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Electrical BIM Team Lead who is passionate about leadership, technical excellence, and developing high-performing teams. This position combines hands-on BIM coordination with team leadership and direct client interaction
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BIM Specialists and Junior BIM Specialists.
- Assign workloads and balance team capacity across multiple projects.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members.
- Support onboarding and technical training for new employees.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate Electrical BIM deliverables from project kickoff through final submission.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
- Ensure models comply with company standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models and oversee clash detection activities.
- Perform QA/QC reviews before every client delivery.
- Identify project risks and proactively propose solutions.
Client Communication
- Participate in coordination meetings with U.S. clients.
- Present project progress, technical solutions, and action plans in English.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned projects.
- Coordinate internally to resolve RFIs, markups, and client comments.
Continuous Improvement
- Improve BIM standards and workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities and best practices.
- Support implementation of new technologies and processes.
- Help standardize templates, families, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of BIM experience.
- 2+ years leading BIM teams or coordinating projects.
- Advanced English (required).
- Advanced Autodesk Revit (MEP).
- Advanced Navisworks.
- Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
- AutoCAD.
- Construction documentation experience.
- Clash Detection.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Experience working on U.S. construction projects.

Salary
$25,000 ? $30,000 MXN per month, depending on experience and technical evaluation.
