Compliance Specialist (Manufacturing Immex)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IMMEX Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Mexico's IMMEX Program, customs regulations, and foreign trade compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of import and export operations while maintaining compliance with applicable tax, customs, and foreign trade regulations.
Responsibilities
-Register and manage import and export operations under the IMMEX Program in compliance with tax regulations.
-Ensure compliance with IMMEX Program requirements and maintain program documentation up to date.
-Manage and monitor Annex 24 and Annex 30 compliance requirements.
-Coordinate customs procedures, including proper tariff classification and customs documentation.
-Ensure compliance with Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) and Foreign Trade Regulations.
-Monitor and control inventories of temporarily imported goods, ensuring proper identification and traceability.
-Ensure compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions.
-Identify and resolve issues related to logistics, customs documentation, taxation, and foreign trade operations.
-Generate reports and maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reviews.
-Utilize ERP systems to manage and track foreign trade operations.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, -------Customs, or a related field.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in IMMEX administration and foreign trade operations.
-Strong knowledge of IMMEX Program regulations.
-Experience managing Annex 24 and Annex 30 requirements.
-Solid knowledge of Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) and Foreign Trade Regulations.
-Experience handling import and export operations under IMMEX schemes.
-Experience working with any ERP system.
