HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR
We are a company specialized in strategic construction management, with more than 40 years of experience and over 2 million square meters of construction completed under our supervision.
JOB PROFILE
We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator with on-site construction experience, responsible for overseeing compliance with safety measures, identifying risks, and ensuring the application of current occupational health and safety regulations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Safety supervision on construction sites in accordance with current regulations.
Implementation and follow-up of workplace safety plans.
Identification and assessment of on-site risks.
Personnel supervision and monitoring of safety protocols.
Knowledge and application of STPS (Mexican Labor Authority) guidelines.
Proper use of construction tools, machinery, and equipment.
Management and supervision of correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of follow-up reports for the project files.
Development and follow-up of action and contingency plans in line with the work plan.
Review of logistics for personnel, suppliers, and material receiving.
Coordination of maintenance, hygiene, and training activities.
Communication of preventive, mitigation, and emergency measures.
Supervision and control of high-risk activities, including:
Fire extinguisher handling and fire prevention.
Manual handling of loads.
Proper PPE use.
Training and group management.
Working at heights.
High-risk electrical work.
Lockout/Tagout and signage (LOTO).
First aid.
Operation and supervision of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs).
