Buyer assistant administrative control
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Merchandise Assistant to join our Mexico Buying Office. In this role, you will be the operational backbone for our team of Buyers, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of purchase orders and ensuring that the right products reach our global stores at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
PO Lifecycle Management: Create, monitor, and edit domestic and international Purchase Orders using advanced EDI/ASN systems.
Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for international vendors, resolving shipment delays, discrepancies, and "Late List" issues.
Sample Strategy: Maintain and organize the sample room, tracking pre-production samples and preparing professional itineraries for global merchant visits.
Data & Analytics: Maintain high-level financial spreadsheets (Excel) to monitor selling data and inventory performance.
Logistics Bridge: Coordinate daily with Traffic and Planning departments to expedite critical merchandise flow.
Key Skills:
Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables), fast and accurate data entry, and familiarity with ERP/Retail systems.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail; ability to multitask and support 2?5 merchants simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
Communication: Fluent in English (Daily professional interaction with global offices). Ability to tailor communication styles to different stakeholders.
Proactivity: Independent problem-solver who can anticipate delays and propose solutions before they impact the business.

Requirements:
Language: High proficiency in English (Written and Spoken).
Experience: 2-3 years in Retail, Purchasing, or Administrative Support.
